Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: April 2021

By booking or using services from Diavaeh Car Rental, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 21 years old (25+ for select vehicles)
   
• Have a valid driver’s license
   
• Provide a valid payment method in your name
   

We reserve the right to deny service at our discretion.

2. Reservations & Payments

• A deposit is required to secure all bookings
   
• Deposits are applied to the rental total
   
• Deposits are non-refundable for:
   
  • No-shows
     
  • Same-day cancellations
     
  • Failure to meet requirements
     

3. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required.

Deposits may be used for:

• Damages
   
• Excess mileage
   
• Smoking or cleaning fees
   
• Late returns
   
• Tolls or tickets
   

Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days after inspection.

4. Vehicle Use Restrictions

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Driving over 100 mph
   
• Reckless or aggressive driving
   
• Smoking or vaping in the vehicle
   
• Unauthorized drivers
   
• Commercial use (Uber, Lyft, etc.)
   
• Leaving approved service area without permission
   
• Illegal activity
   

Violation may result in immediate termination without refund.

5. Mileage Policy

Vehicles include a standard mileage allowance, not to exceed 200 miles a day.

Excessive mileage or abnormal usage may result in additional charges.

6. Vehicle Return

Vehicles must be returned:

• On time
   
• In the same condition
   
• With the same fuel level
   

Late returns may result in additional fees or vehicle recovery.

Failure to return a vehicle may be reported as unauthorized use.

7. Damages & Liability

You are responsible for all damage during your rental period, including:

• Interior and exterior damage
   
• Mechanical damage caused by misuse
   
• Cleaning and odor removal
   

Additional charges may include repair costs and loss of use.

8. Traffic Violations & Tolls

You are responsible for all:

• Tickets
   
• Tolls
   
• Parking violations
   

These may be charged to your payment method or deducted from your deposit.

9. Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for:

• Early returns
   
• Policy violations
   
• Terminated rentals
   

10. Chargebacks & Fraud

By booking, you agree:

• Filing a false dispute is considered fraud
   
• We will submit evidence including agreements, GPS data, and communication records
   

Fraudulent disputes may result in collections or legal action.

11. Cancellation Policy

• 24+ hours notice: credit or partial refund (at company discretion)
   
• Less than 24 hours: no refund
   

12. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

We may cancel or terminate any rental for:

• Safety concerns
   
• Policy violations
   
• Fraud risk
   

13. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for:

• Personal belongings left in vehicles
   
• Indirect or incidental damages
   

14. Agreement

By booking or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
